Providing emotional Support To Our Community
Further to our recent Coronavirus update and the escalation of measures put in place to reduce transmission through social distancing:
I will ask our team to work from home from (19/3/20) offering telephone support calls , for an initial 2 weeks, supporting existing clients only at present. We will then review , until the situation is safe, following Government guidelines and protocols.
Our priority is to help ensure the health and wellbeing of staff, their families and the wider community.
Thank you for your understanding on this matter, as these are extremely difficult and challenging times for those most vulnerable in our community."

What Do We Do?
Safe Harbour is an emotional support service for Inverclyde. We are a charity that provides free one to one support to individuals in our community.

ANGER
Low Self Esteem
Low Self worth
Stress
Isolation
Trauma
Bereavement
Anxiety
The Safe Harbour Programme is a non-clinical, alternative service that aims to improve emotional resilience and emotional wellbeing.
We focus on the emotions and wellbeing of our clients rather than a diagnosis.
After being awarded funding from the Big Lottery Fund in December 2015, we have been able to re-brand our service and reach more people who need support.

PROVIDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
TO THOSE MOST IN NEED
IN OUR INVERCLYDE COMMUNITY
"Safe Harbour not only listened to what I had to say, they worked with me and genuinely cared about my ideas and feelings about the directions things should take and what I needed. It gave me a feeling of agency and control that I hadn't experienced in my life."
